The question is not “Are You Toxic?”, the question has become: “How Toxic Are You?”
Urine Heavy Metal analysis, provided at Dr. Dicksons office, is an invaluable tool for the assessment of retention of toxic metals in the body and the status of essential nutrient elements. Toxic metals do not have any useful physiological function, adversely affect virtually every organ system and disrupt the homeostasis of nutrient elements.
Heavy metal toxicity can result in damaged or reduced mental and central nervous function, lower energy levels, and damage to blood composition, lungs, kidneys, liver, and other vital organs.
Long-term exposure may result in slowly progressing physical, muscular, and neurological degenerative processes that mimic Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, muscular dystrophy, and multiple sclerosis.
Analysis of the levels of toxic metals in urine after the administration of the metal detoxification agent is an objective way to evaluate the accumulation of toxic metals. Acute metal poisoning is rare. More common, however, is a chronic, low-level exposure to toxic metals that can result in significant retention in the body that can be associated with a vast array of adverse health effects and chronic disease. One cannot draw valid conclusions about adverse health effects of metals without assessing net retention. For an individual, toxicity occurs when net retention exceeds physiological tolerance.
It is important to discover if you have any heavy metals, which may be hindering you from attaining your health goals. This assessment is a take home 6-hr urine collection – done in the privacy of your home.
Depending on the results, treatment may involve; metal specific detox programs including the use of IV Therapy, Colonics, Nutrition and/or Chelating agents.
